It’s a new month, so that means it’s a new #SICC. 

Today is International Children’s Book Day. In honor of this event, our April Sharing Is Caring Challenge is simple but powerful. 

Here it is. April is READ TO A CHILD month. 

The #SICC isn’t about spending lots of money, buying stuff or doing difficult things. The Challenge is about showing how simple acts of love can cost you nothing but time. 

Take a child to the library. Donate books your little ones no longer read. Volunteer at the church preschool. Help out at your local pta. Hey! How about a story time for your children and friend’s children? 

Encourage s child’s excitement and love of reading through your example. Empower them to be creative and dream.
